I am a old fart who used to running a BBS back in the day and enjoyed games like LORD (Legend of the Red Dragon) and such. Also enjoyed a ton of text based RPG games way on monochrome monitors way before there were graphical games. I say this to say how big of smile this game has put on my face playing it. I look forward to playing it some more. I love how it pulls you in. The only small annoyance so far that I have found is that when going through visitors to the court I had the same Bandit named character visit me, even though I just stuck in him jail. Then he visitied again. I haven't read the forums so I am not sure if this is a known issue or just luck of the draw either way I would like to suggest some type of tracking to avoid this type of issue. Other than that I give this a 9.5 out of 10.. 10/10 would force everyone to wear hats again. FINALLY. I've been able to buy this game... And i love it! It might need even more randomness! But when is there enough randomness? Great job!. In so many ways, very silly and unpolished, yet there's definitely enough content for a few dollars. Surprisingly lots of content, in fact.. Awesome game better than expected!. I first played warsim about 1-2 years ago, back before it was on steam. About a week ago I finally decided to buy it. It has shown great improvement and I really enjoy playing it. The random generation makes the game interesting, along with the exploring, and many other things such as the arena, throne room, upgrades, and many more. If your interested at all I highly recommend getting as im sure you will enjoy it, and the great developer deserves the support. I really only have one complaint, which is that the wars are not too interesting, and I believe the dev said he would improve it at some point. Other than that it is a wonderful game.. An absolutely brilliant example of what human imagination can produce.
